Its almost time for another summer adventure. I will be heading back to the town of Petersburg, Alaska to work on the cabin crew with the Forest Service. I was hired on as a STEP, which means I will be continuing my college degree after this summer and I did not have to compete with veterans for my job. I am a GS 4 position and will be receiving $13.18 an hour. I will be on a crew with 3 others and will be resupplying and maintaining the cabins in the Tongass.
